Information on Commissioned Pieces

  • Portraits (individuals or groups) landscape scenes, or meaningful places.

  • I typically offer sizes ranging from 11x14 to 24x30. If you have a specific size in mind, we can discuss what will work best for the subject.

  • Depending on the scope and time of year, most commissions take between 8-10 weeks. I’ll provide a more accurate timeline when we confirm your request.

  • Yes—clear reference photos are essential, and I’ll work with you to choose the best one(s) to bring your painting to life.

  • Fill out my contact form or send an email, and I’ll follow up with next steps. A 50% deposit is requested to reserve your spot on my schedule.

Information on Framing, Surface Types and Shipping

INFORMATION ON FRAMING

Unless stated the paintings are sold without frames. If you are interested in framing we can discuss options that work well with your personal preference.

SHIPPING

Tax and shipping is added to the price. Please inquire for a shipping estimate.

  • A smooth birch panel with a 3/4" or 2” sides. These paintings come ready to hang or placed on a table or shelf. They do not require a frame. View example image here.

  • Stretched canvas refers to linen or canvas fabric that has been tightly stretched over a wooden frame. Gallery wrap stretched canvas will have painted edges and can hang with or without a frame.

  • Canvas panel is linen that has been applied to a board. This panel will need a frame. Please let me know if you would like recommendations for frames.
