Painting the Moments
“Friendship”
Painting the Moments
There is a story behind every painting. “Friendship” represents the special relationship between two individuals and how it poured over into our family vacations. They were quick to laugh, have coffee ready in the morning for a chat on the deck, play with the kids and then they would meander off to spend time together. On one of our trips, I watched them walk down the beach with the comfort of friendship and commitment. This painting brings feelings of gratefulness for the moments shared together.
When a client contacts me for a commissioned piece, I enjoy hearing the story of “Why”. Why do they want this piece? What makes it special? These questions set the mood and focus for the painting.
What are the stories your paintings help you remember?
